This is the first catalog of the complete music of Joachim Raff to appear after the Raff-Werkverzeichnis by Albert Schäfer in 1888.
It contains about 100 more works by Raff than its predecessor from the 19th century. The new catalog (Werkverzeichnis) contains useful information about each piece, including information on content, scoring, first editions, and first performances.
The new catalog has been created in a years long effort by the renowned Raff specialist Mark Thomas, creator of the ultimative resource of knowledge about Joachim Raff: www.raff.org
The main language of the new catalog is English.
Original citations are presented in German and English.
